  • the promotion of healthy living.
  • advocacy.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

*Take the Quiz

Take the Make Health Last Quiz at http://www.makehealthlast.ca to assess your risk of developing heart disease or stroke.

Canadians are living longer. But not necessarily healthier. On average, we’ll spend our final 10 years with sickness and disease. However, we can change this. The choices we make now can help shape a future of strength and vitality instead. The Heart and Stroke Foundation wants to help Canadians like you make those healthy choices. So you can spend every moment not just living, but truly alive. Now’s the time to Make Health Last

*Volunteer

Our volunteers have been making a difference in the lives of Canadians through their generous contributions of time, skill and commitment. However, millions of us are still at risk and will be for generations to come. There is still so much to do and there are so many ways to help. The Heart and Stroke Foundation relies on volunteers with a wide variety of skills. Put your expertise to work through one of our many volunteer opportunities.

What Can You Expect? You will find that being part of this organization will offer many rewards. You will have a chance to meet new and inspiring people, develop fresh ideas, use your skills or learn new ones, but most of all you will be an important part of our dynamic team. Since our research, health promotion, advocacy and fund raising activities take place year round, we can offer both short and long-term volunteer opportunities. Contact 519-679-0641 to learn more.
